Caving in Asturias
Description
Caving is the adventure activity that allows you to discover the surprising interior of the Asturian mountains. It’s a science whose purpose is the exploration and study of underground cavities that are within your reach. An activity for which there is no adaptation for tourist use, and in which your only aid will be the provision of our artificial electric or carbide lighting equipment.
Entering these carboniferous limestone cavities and exploring their galleries is a very entertaining activity: you’ll climb, crawl, crouch… You’ll discover impressive geological formations and admire beautiful stalactites and stalagmites, which have formed over thousands of years, by precipitation of minerals contained in the groundwater that filters very slowly through the cave ceiling. A movie-like world surrounded by mystery that will never cease to amaze you.
An exciting activity in the bowels of the earth where you will always be accompanied by one of our specialized guides. A different experience, in which a world beneath what we know will open up before you, a world that holds natural wonders worth visiting.

Your activity doesn't end when you leave the cave
Caving is a science whose purpose is the exploration and study of underground cavities. It’s an activity where you’ll be isolated in an environment where both temporal and spatial references are lost, but you’ll never be alone as our specialized guide will accompany you throughout the journey.
Observe and learn about the formation process of the cavities and their most unique elements inside, and enjoy everything you’ve experienced once you come out, because even though the activity ends, your day continues with us.
Our team will take you to our facilities where you can discuss everything you’ve seen and felt in the depths of la tierrina, while enjoying a picnic seated on the benches of our spacious picnic area. A wonderful space to stay in touch with nature!
