Description
What are the best dates to descend the Sella River?
A peaceful horseback ride is the most attractive way to contemplate, in a relaxed manner, the wonderful landscapes of eastern Asturias. A journey through forests and mountains with impressive views provides you with a different way to discover the landscapes of our land and experience the sensation of horseback riding in an incomparable setting like the Picos de Europa.
The horses are gentle and very calm, accustomed to carrying all our adventurers, both those with much and little riding experience. Additionally, for your greater safety, you will be accompanied by one of our guides at all times.
The activity begins with explanations on how to treat, mount, and handle the horse. During the ride, you’ll enjoy strolling through beautiful fields, venture into magical forests, get to know our mountains and riverbanks better… And, halfway through the 2-hour route, we’ll make a brief stop at a cider house so you can taste Asturias’ drink of excellence.
Indeed, its landscapes of extraordinary beauty and paths laden with history make Asturias the ideal place for horseback riding. An environment that offers multiple and attractive routes that invite you to explore them on horseback.

Duration Approximately 1 to 2 hours 
Schedule 2-hour routes: 10:00 / 12:00, 1-hour routes: 16:00 / 17:00 / 18:00 / 19:00 
Equipment included - We use English safety saddles.
- Helmet optional, mandatory for children.
- In case of rain, you will be provided with a raincoat.
Minimum height 1.30m. 
Mandatory If you are over 15 years old but still a minor, you must bring an authorization signed by your legal guardian. Download it here.
