Yesterday we had a wonderful experience on the Sella River Descent with Cangas Aventura. We went as a family, two adults and a 9-year-old girl. The staff was very friendly and the facilities seemed very complete and well-maintained to us.
During the descent, we enjoyed the impressive natural landscape surrounding the Sella River. We had the freedom to stop at river beaches to rest and enjoy the beach bars, and there were also swimming areas to cool off. We had a great time!
Overall, it was a very fun and recommended activity for families visiting Asturias.

We did the Sella River Descent activity in 2 canoes. The staff explained perfectly how to handle the canoe and where to make stops. The river was flowing with a good volume, which made it fun. The views are beautiful. There weren’t many people, which made it a perfect and peaceful day. We had a great time as a family! We managed to reach stop 2 (about 15 km approx). The bad thing is that we lost 2 flip-flops and a phone broke because it got wet😹. We highly recommend it and it’s the third time we’ve done it!❤️🛶

An unforgettable adventure, my daughters aged 12 and 18 thought they wouldn’t last but we covered 13km. Along the way, you can stop at various beach bars to eat and have refreshing drinks, they give you a container where you can put clothes and food, phone, and other items without getting them wet.

We did the Sella descent with the girls and it was great. The materials were perfect and they give you a 10-liter waterproof container per canoe to store your things. The instructors are very nice and attentive. The truth is that there were a lot of people, there were some calmer stretches than others, but even so it was great. 100% recommended. We did the Sella River descent in a Canoe, with two girls aged 9 and 5 and the dog.A delight!! It’s easy, not difficult! They pick you up at the end of the route.I recommend putting towels and change of clothes in one of the containers they give you. Because at the end of the route, they have changing rooms. And it’s appreciated to dry off and take off wet clothes. To avoid get cold. We brought our own picnic. And during the route there are beach bars on the riverbank, ideal for having a drink and eating. They also make hot sandwiches. I recommend that children don’t use paddles and just enjoy the journey. Coordinating with them is complicated. Also, let yourself be advised by the instructors, they are all super friendly.To end the day, they have a zip line course right there on the premises. And the kids love it. However, it’s not suitable for the little one who’s 5 years old. We were left wanting to come back another day and do the buggy excursion.
